Dedicated to the memory of Eric Darlow
My Dad's father served in the RAF during the Second World War, flying 32 operations over Germany before being shot down and becoming a POW. Then in 1947 he was lost while serving with the RAF in the Far East. Dad’s mother passed away shortly after and dad was orphaned. The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund stepped in and paid for Dad’s schooling and we, as a family, are eternally grateful. Rather than having flowers at Dad’s funeral we have set up this tribute fund for Eric which supports the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.
